2012 True Grit 100 Bike

I'm getting ready to tackle 100-miles of single-speed racing this Saturday at the 2nd True Grit bike race in St. George, Utah.  This will be my first race on a single-speed so I am excited and frankly a little uneasy about how it is going to go.  One thing is for sure, I am 100% confident in the ride I have put together.

What do you think?

it's a nice ride....just make sure the crank arm does fall off. What does that thing weigh?

18T cog is a bold choice. I like it. Good luck!

I may back down and go 19T for the race. It's just so hard to know with a course all over the place like this one is.

Ben, it seems everyone now has a story about something falling off this bike but I haven't had anything break for a while now (knock, knock). This XTR crank is solid (that X0 crank is still sitting in a box and hasn't been used since).

My rule of thumb....find out what Kenny is running and at a tooth.
